Software development experience

2021 —

Turing-Express

Cahors, France

Independent software practice, solving business problems from initial discussion to later maintenance, selecting providers, sometimes managing business-specific devices. An actual full-stack ownership starting with gathering requirements. Most software for this period is written in Elixir.

2022 —

Alzo

Toulouse, France

Alzo and its companion products are a B2B SaaS for unified communication ownership and streamlined tender submission, for architecture and construction companies. I created the project in 2022, and it took its name in 2023. In 2026 I co-founded a company that now develops it.

2018 — 2021

Documents.design studio

Toulouse, France

Co-ran this 5-person design studio, managing and developing all web and software projects for its clients. Earlier projects were done with Laravel and Node, and later projects with Elixir and Phoenix.

2015 — 2018

Freelancer

Toulouse, France

Built custom web-facing sites and applications on-demand for diverse customers. Technologies encountered included Laravel, Rust, Node.js, and Wordpress.

Groups/Teaching experiences

Online

I co-animate an optics-making channel on an astronomy Discord server, and in 2026 organized the first edition of a yearly French-speaking optics online conference.

2022 — 2024

Mirror making workshop

L'Union, France

I ran a mirror-making workshop at Neptunion, an astronomy club, introducing members to the discipline, providing both theory and practice sessions. See more about mirror making on the blog section of my site.

2017 — 2018

HTML/CSS/JS workshop for non-coders

Toulouse, France

Two years in a row, a 48h course over 8 weeks given to young adults studying graphic design : thinking about a website, designing and developing it, using versioning, getting a domain, deploying it through github pages. Some of them now build websites for their own clients :-).

2006 — 2009

Ubuntu install parties

As a teenager fond of Linux, I gathered install CDs and helped classmates build their own or refurbish old PCs to install Ubuntu, from install CDs we ordered. Some of those now are IT professionals.
